This workshop will teach fundamental audition techniques that will help the participant feel comfortable with the audition process. They will be provided with a wealth of information to improve their acting, improvisation, and cold reading skills, as well as numerous vocal audition tips. Participants will play theater games, do mock auditions, and will be given feedback on their presentations on how to improve and what was successful. In addition, cold reads from the upcoming show will be practiced. This workshop is ideal for anyone who would like to improve their musical theater skills.
Workshops will be taught approximately two weeks prior to MTA's next show's auditions. Limited enrollment, so please check back for exact dates.
